Business Analyst - Interim Position

Role: Business Analyst, Interim
Location: London, UK Department: International Status: Interim
The Business Analyst bridges data and strategy to drive commercial performance. You’ll collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to translate insights into actionable decisions, supporting global growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Analysis:
- Analyse sales, market, and financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Work with systems like Nielsen, IRI, and Circana to surface key insights
- Reporting & Dashboards:
- Develop and maintain recurring reports, dashboards, and performance trackers
- Ensure accuracy and consistency across datasets
- Strategic Support:
- Assist with sales forecasting, budgeting, and promotional effectiveness
- Partner with Sales & Commercial teams for customer-channel performance reviews
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Translate complex findings into clear recommendations for non-technical teams
- Process Improvement:
- Continuously refine analytical tools and reporting processes
- Ad-Hoc Analyses:
- Support leadership requires and multi-functional projects

Required Skills & Experience
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Business, Economics, Finance, Analytics, or a related field
- 2–5+ years in a Business Analyst, Commercial Analyst, or equivalent role
- Proficiency in Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data modeling)
- Experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker)
- Familiarity with market data sources (Nielsen, IRI, Circana)
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate insights effectively to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience in beauty, FMCG, retail, or consumer goods

- International/multi-market exposure
- Background in sales analysis, forecasting, or KPI-driven roles

Compensation & Benefits
The compensation package includes:
- Competitive base salary
- Annual performance bonus (up to 200% of target based on company performance in the last three years)
- Equity (new-hire grant + eligibility for annual refresh)
- Work environment: 3-day in-office, hybrid (Thursday/Small daylight Fridays)
