Interim Legal Counsel (6-month FTC)
SSQ is looking for a Corporate/Private Equity lawyer to join the legal team of a leading international growth equity investor on a fixed-term basis.
The Business
The business manages several billion dollars of assets and invests in high-growth technology companies across Europe and North America. Its portfolio spans sectors including enterprise software, AI, cybersecurity, fintech, and healthcare technology.
The Role

- Advising on domestic and cross-border growth equity investments.
- Supporting acquisitions, disposals, and strategic corporate transactions.
- Advising on portfolio company matters following investment, including governance and ongoing corporate support.
- Advising on corporate restructurings and general corporate matters.
- Supporting financing transactions and management incentive arrangements.
- Working closely with investment professionals throughout the deal lifecycle.
- Liaising with external counsel where appropriate and coordinating legal workstreams across multiple jurisdictions.

Candidate Profile
The successful candidate is likely to have:
- Approximately 4 years' PQE +
- Strong Corporate M&A and/or Private Equity experience gained in-house or at a leading law firm.
- Experience advising on complex cross-border transactions.
- Previous in-house experience would be advantageous
