Senior Associate – Intellectual Property Disputes

About the Role
The Intellectual Property team is seeking an experienced and commercially-minded Senior Associate to handle IP disputes and litigation, including:
- Trade marks and passing off
- Copyright and design rights
- Patents
- Brand protection, IP enforcement, and infringement claims
- Drafting and negotiating licensing, franchise, sponsorship, naming rights, and IP exploitation agreements

The successful candidate will:
- Work directly with partners and a talented team of Associates
- Handle high-profile matters across the sports, fashion, and brand sectors
- Take ownership of cases
- Supervise junior team members
- Contribute to business development and client engagement initiatives
Requirements
The firm is looking for candidates with:
- At least 5+ years’ experience in IP disputes/litigation
- Strong technical knowledge and a commercial mindset
- Proven client-facing skills
- Experience advising on high-value, complex IP matters
- Enthusiasm for mentoring and developing junior colleagues
- Excellence in communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to contribute to a collaborative, innovative, and inclusive team culture
