Senior Associate – Intellectual Property Disputes

About the Role

The Intellectual Property team is seeking an experienced and commercially-minded Senior Associate to handle IP disputes and litigation, including:

  • Trade marks and passing off
  • Copyright and design rights
  • Patents
  • Brand protection, IP enforcement, and infringement claims
  • Drafting and negotiating licensing, franchise, sponsorship, naming rights, and IP exploitation agreements

The successful candidate will:

  • Work directly with partners and a talented team of Associates
  • Handle high-profile matters across the sports, fashion, and brand sectors
  • Take ownership of cases
  • Supervise junior team members
  • Contribute to business development and client engagement initiatives

Requirements

The firm is looking for candidates with:

  • At least 5+ years’ experience in IP disputes/litigation
  • Strong technical knowledge and a commercial mindset
  • Proven client-facing skills
  • Experience advising on high-value, complex IP matters
  • Enthusiasm for mentoring and developing junior colleagues
  • Excellence in communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to contribute to a collaborative, innovative, and inclusive team culture
