Intel Analyst

Department: Claims Management Location: Liverpool

Keoghs is looking to recruit an Intel Analyst to join our busy, fast-paced Intelligence Team. The Intel Analyst will work on a variety of claims, ranging from motor fraud, credit hire, EL/PL (Employment Liability/Public Liability), and complex injury matters (and potentially more!). This role involves identifying relevant intelligence evidence from various sources to assist decision-making processes.

On receipt of bespoke instructions, the Intel Analyst will undertake searches and capture intelligence evidence—whether in internal reports, pictorial formats, or formal statements. Additionally, they will provide ad hoc intelligence support for both internal and external customers as needed.

Key Accountabilities

  • Analyse claims files and provide reports to Clients and File Handlers, summarising outcomes.
  • Use desktop systems and analytical techniques to research and validate information, detecting potential fraudulent patterns.
  • Compile reports/profiles on individuals involved in suspected fraudulent activity.
  • Prepare witness evidence (e.g., statements) for court proceedings, often in civil cases.
  • Utilise IT software advances (e.g., iBase, i2 Analyst Notebook, Excel) to produce proactive intelligence reports.
  • Deliver structured, detailed briefings to lawyers and clients on key investigation facts.
  • Prepare intelligence-led fraud risk assessments for fraud rings and insurance fraud investigations.
  • Align reports/briefings with the National Intelligence Model (NIM).
  • Mentor Trainee Analysts informally where applicable.
  • Meet daily chargeable targets.
  • Comply with service-level agreements accordingly and internal benchmarks.
  • Accurately record time as per Keoghs policy.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
