Intelligence Analyst
We are recruiting an Intelligence Analyst to join our Operational Intelligence team on a six-month fixed-term contract (or contractor basis). You will support the delivery of high-quality, insight-driven intelligence products for Prevail's government, commercial and NGO clients, contributing across the full spectrum of intelligence consultancy and product delivery.
Working as part of a collaborative team, you will apply structured analytical techniques, open-source research and intelligence methodologies to deliver timely, actionable intelligence that supports real-world operational outcomes. This role is ideally suited to an experienced analyst who can quickly integrate into a fast-paced environment, work with minimal supervision and deliver high-quality outputs from day one.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of complex analytical tasks with minimal supervision, delivering high-quality intelligence in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Conduct intelligence collection, research and analysis using open-source and commercially available information.
- Apply recognised intelligence analysis methodologies and structured analytical techniques to produce timely, evidence-based assessments.
- Monitor and assess developing geopolitical, security and operational events, identifying emerging risks, trends and mis/disinformation narratives.
- Conduct network and link analysis, mapping and data visualisation to identify relationships, patterns and key insights.
- Produce clear, accurate intelligence reports, assessments, briefings and presentations, including visual and geospatial products where appropriate.
- Brief internal and external stakeholders, translating client requirements into actionable intelligence products and analytical support.
- Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to deliver intelligence aligned to client priorities and collection plans.
- Conduct peer review of analytical outputs to maintain high quality standards.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of intelligence processes, methodologies and collection approaches.

Essential Requirements
- 3-5 years' experience in an intelligence, law enforcement, defence, national security or corporate intelligence environment.
- Current SC Security Clearance.
- Strong understanding and practical application of OSINT techniques, intelligence collection and research methodologies.
- Experience conducting network/link analysis, mapping and using analytical tools to identify relationships and trends.
- Excellent intelligence writing skills, with experience producing assessments, reports and briefings for operational or strategic decision-makers.
- Experience monitoring developing events and assessing misinformation and disinformation.
- Strong understanding of the intelligence cycle, collection planning and recognised analytical methodologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to brief internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong awareness of current affairs, geopolitical developments and security issues.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality intelligence products under tight deadlines.
Desirable Skills And Experience
- Formal intelligence or analytical training through a recognised government, military, law enforcement or academic programme.
- Experience supporting government, defence or commercial clients.
- Familiarity with specialist OSINT platforms and commercially available analytical tools.
- Experience conducting geospatial analysis and producing visual intelligence products.
- Experience with structured targeting, investigations or threat analysis.
- Proficiency in a second language, particularly Arabic, French, Farsi or Russian.
