About the Role

Keoghs is seeking to recruit an Intel Analyst to join our dynamic Intelligence Team. This role will involve working on a range of challenging cases including motor fraud, credit hire, EL/PL, and complex injury matters.

The Intel Analyst will be responsible for identifying and collating relevant intelligence evidence from a variety of sources to support critical decision-making and drive cases toward resolution.

Key tasks include:

  • Conducting bespoke research on new instructions
  • Capturing and documenting intelligence across formats—internal reports, pictorial evidence, formal statements
  • Providing ad hoc intelligence to both internal and external customers

Key Responsibilities

  • Analysing claims files and producing reports for clients and file handlers summarising analysis outcomes
  • Using desktop systems and analytical techniques to:
    • Locate fraud-related or validation evidence
    • Rule out suspicious claims or behaviour
  • Compiling detailed profiles on individuals/groups involved in suspected fraud activity
  • Preparing witness statements to present findings in civil court proceedings
  • Operating advanced IT software (e.g., iBase, i2 Analyst’s Notebook, Excel) to create proactive intelligence reports
  • Delivering structured briefings to legal teams and clients on fraud risks and case findings
  • Producing intelligence-led fraud risk assessments and NIM-compliant reports
  • Mentoring junior analysts (informally)
  • Meeting daily chargeable targets
  • Ensuring compliance with client SLAs, internal benchmarks, and time recording policies

Working Hours

35 hours per week Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm (unpaid 1-hour lunch break). Primary working location: Parklands, Bolton Office.


Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Strong understanding of legal disclosure frameworks
  • Ability to draft comprehensive and professional reports
  • Basic commercial awareness
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills
  • Confident telephone etiquette for liaising with clients
  • Capacity to present logical, evidence-based arguments
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and act independently
  • Innovative thinking with a proactive mindset
