About the role:
To support policing across the Force. The Intelligence Researcher is required to obtain and research data / information to identify crime trends, patterns and network; provide support to operational policing and a variety of investigation teams; produce or assist in the production of Intelligence packages / products. In order to effectively direct policing activity, work closely with analysts, fellow researchers and other intelligence colleagues to provide resilience and flexibility in a demanding environment and conduct research in response to requests from partner or other agencies (i.e., Informs National operations and Strategic Reports).
