Salary: $154,722 – $227,502 (per annum)

Location: North Canberra Hospital, Bruce – Australian Capital Territory (ACT)

Section: Intensive Care Medicine

About the Role

This is a time-bound, full-time position commencing 1 February 2027 for a duration of 12 months, with an optional extension (**pending success`).

Position Summary

CHS is dedicated to delivering high-quality, person-centred, and efficient healthcare. The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Career Medical Officer (CMO) role is a specialty-based medical position focused on critical care within an ACSH-affiliated hospital. Successful applicants will provide acute care to critically ill patients, collaborating with hospital departments.

Pre-Employment Requirements

Before commencing employment, applicants must:

  • Be eligible at a PGY4 or higher training level
  • Undergo a National Police Check administered pre-employment
  • Comply with CHS Occupational Assessment, Screening & Vaccination Policy
