We Have Two Positions Available
Post 1: Full Time - 37.5 hours per week
Post 2: Part Time 22.5 hours per week
- Note: we are no longer accepting part time applications, interviews in progress.
Shifts
- 8:00AM – 4:00PM
- 3:30PM – 11:00PM
(work pattern to be discussed during the interview)
- This role operates on a two week rota pattern, which includes weekend working.
In addition to the contracted hours outlined above, there are also ad hoc hours available, which can be discussed further at interview.
Starting Salary
- £25,390 per annum, rising to £26,206 after 6 month probation.
- The salary will be pro rata for part time hours.

- Short Stay Recovery House, Oak Tree House - Burgh Castle - NR31
The Service
The Short Stay Recovery House is a 24-hour service for people who have experienced, or are experiencing a mental health crisis but do not require a hospital admission.
The Role
You will provide crisis intervention and support to people who are experiencing a psychiatric and or psychosocial crisis but do not require a hospital admission.
Among Other Responsibilities You Will
- Support individuals in crisis (presenting in a range of ways, including low mood, depressed, anxious, mania, self-harming, and experiencing suicidal thoughts) to develop their own safety plan and coping strategies to navigate the crisis situation.
- Identify and respond to individuals who become a risk to themselves or others within this time period by working closely with the Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Service. (CRHT)
- Liaise with the Service Manager when taking new referrals and be part of a full risk handover when accepting new people to the house
- Complete admissions and discharge paperwork including recovery plans
- Create and facilitate one to one's and group sessions for guests to aid in their recovery focusing on client-specific recovery goals
