Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter

The Studio Operations team—comprising areas like soundstage/backlot set rentals, event design, culinary services, construction, and landscaping—ensures everything runs seamlessly. These teams craft memorable experiences for talent and visitors alike.

This opportunity is part of our Show Experience at the Warner Bros. Studio Tour London, where you’ll have the chance to work alongside authentic Harry Potter props, sets, and costumes while sharing your passion for storytelling.


Your New Role: Interactor

Position: Interactor (Part-Time, Up to 40 Hours/WEEK) Location: Warner Bros. Studio Tour London

As an Interactor, you’ll be a fan-obsessed ambassador, guiding visitors through the magical journey of discoverning the Harry Potter universe. Your responsibilities include:

  • Delivering exciting, scripted speeches, demos of special effects, and engaging storytelling about the films.
  • Providing expert Harry Potter insights and ensuring every visitor leaves with an unforgettable experience.
  • Conducting Added Value Tours & Audio Descriptive Tours as needed.
  • Collaborating with management to enhance the show and visitor experience.
  • Maintaining a tidy, safe workspace while occasionally deep-cleaning sets (Note: Physical demands include standing for up to 5 hours, light lifting, and working outdoors in all weather. Areas feature water-based smoke effects, flashing lights, loud noises, and interactions with live actors.)
  • Adhering to WBD policies & guidelines—mandatory training provided.

Your Role Accountabilities

✔ Deliver a world-class visitor experience—anticipate needs, exceed expectations, and maintain top-tier customer service. ✔ Present as a charming, knowledgeable Show Representative—engaging 1:1 and to larger groups on camera (recording may occur). ✔ Practice empathy, integrity, and transparency—always put Visitors first. ✔ Upskill continuously in Harry Potter lore, Tour operations, and performance excellence. ✔ Temperature & deep-clean sets as per management mandates. ✔ Champion safety and inclusivity—adhere to WBD conduct policies.


Requirements & Qualifications

🎮 Preferred:

  • Deep enthusiasm for Harry Potter—preferably with film expertise.
  • Previous customer-facing roles (e.g., retail, hospitality, entertainment).
  • On-stage or interactive experience (e.g., tour guides, event hosts).
  • Confidence in public speaking— Ability to read script smoothly + improvise with groups.

Working Pattern & Hours

  • Weekly Contract Range: 16–40 hours.
  • Core Hours:
    • Peak Summer/Weekends: 8am–10pm (shifts from 7am available).
    • Weekday Operating: 8am–8pm (some events finishing at 12:30am).
  • Requirement: Weekends & Bank Holidays only (prorated for part-time staff).
  • Transport: Free shuttle bus only during official hours—anything else is your responsibility.
