Intercompany Supply Planner Department: Purchasing & Planning Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time Location: Office, Avonmouth/Filton
Description We are looking for an Intercompany Supply Planning to join the team at our Filton office. The purpose of this role is to manage supply of goods to Intercompany Distribution Centre's in line with receiving regions to ensure required service levels whilst optimising inventory and transport spend / Co2.
Key Responsibilities Manage and create intercompany supply plans, each month for the short-long term (1-18 month horizon) for DCs in US, Asia and Middle East. (Regions in scope may change as Elemis’ business evolves). Manage key risks and opportunities associated with demand variation and capacity constraints. Analyse data to drive supply forecast efficiency/accuracy and investigate variances. Monitor inventory levels, inventory health and inventory profile. Reconcile inventory variances with supply plan, identify root causes and possible solutions for any risks to supply. Manage and mitigate intercompany out of stock/supply risks. Optimise inventory in local distribution centres. Communicate supply risks to international colleagues. Work closely with Export Operations to optimise shipping of goods to local distribution centres. Explore and optimise direct shipment from Supplier to local distribution centres in US and East Asia. Measure, analyse and report key process metrics, and monitor adherence to key performance indicators (KPIs). Collaborate with Demand and Supply Planning colleagues on continuous improvement to support business needs; make recommendation, look for opportunities and implement change. Support implementation of new systems and technology (e.g. Advanced Planning System (APS).) Participate and contribute to the Sales and Operation Planning process representing Intercompany Supply. Sustainability Responsibility Ensure all duties carried out and actions completed in every aspect of your role, contribute to the short and long-term Sustainability Goals set-forth by the ELEMIS - Climate, Biodiversity & People Pillars

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into supply plans. Ability to use technology tools that facilitate cross-functional collaboration. (Training will be provided.) Motivated to drive business results. Previous experience building relationships and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Well-organised and high level of attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Capable of communicating to different levels in the organisation. Ability to work within high performing teams and is highly collaborative. Focus on both short-term results and long-term goals. Experience within FMCG, preferred.
