Interim Accounts Receivable Specialist (Financial Services)
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Analyst to join our Finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end accounts receivable process, ensuring timely collections, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the wider finance function.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end accounts receivable process, including invoicing, payment allocation, and account reconciliations.
- Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely payment collection and proactively follow up on overdue balances.
- Investigate and resolve billing queries, payment discrepancies, and account issues in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate customer account records and ensure data integrity within the finance system.
- Reconcile accounts receivable balances and support month-end close activities.
- Prepare regular ageing reports and provide insights on outstanding receivables and collection performance.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and customers to support efficient payment processes.
- Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and Finance teams to resolve customer account issues.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounts receivable processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and financial procedures.

Requirements
- 2–5 years' experience in Accounts Receivable and/or Accounts Payable roles, ideally within a fast-paced or high-growth business.
- Previous experience working within a SaaS business or similarly structured environment is essential.
- Strong working knowledge of NetSuite is preferred. Experience with other accounting systems such as Xero, Sage, SAP, or QuickBooks will also be considered.
- Advanced Excel and/or Google Sheets skills, including the ability to analyse and manipulate financial data.
- Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate and resolve discrepancies independently.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Fluent English, both written and spoken.
