Interim Analyst for Revenue Accounting (12-month FTC)
The Interim Analyst for Revenue Accounting will be responsible for delivering the day-to-day processes to ensure seamless operation of the Revenue Accounting function within Hilton’s UK Centre of Excellence. Reporting to the Manager/Team Leader Revenue Accounting and working with the Senior Analyst Revenue Accounting, the role involves supporting strategy implementation, ensuring accurate and timely reporting for ~45 hotels.
About the Role
Under the guidance of the Manager Revenue Accounting, this position requires delivering Revenue Accounting processes on time and in compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs). The Analyst will embed an ethos of efficiency and continuous improvement while maintaining high-quality service.
The Analyst will:
- Utilise analytical skills to process high-volume data efficiently
- Identify anomalies for correction using a risk-based approach
- Propose solutions for recurring process issues
- Collaborate on Revenue Accounting strategies and team activities
- Review Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Communicate and influence at all levels, both internally and with external stakeholders
Responsibilities
Core Duties
- Carry out and coordinate end-to-end Revenue Accounting tasks
- Own delivery of daily tasks to meet agreed SLAs
- Perform reconciliations across revenue streams: Commissions & Expenses (C&E), Credit Cards, Food & Beverage (F&B), VAT
- Highlight revenue queries to hotels and drive their resolution
- Reconcile cash postings including corrections and reporting
- Analyse cover data and collaborate with F&B teams
- Reconcile credit card transactions and highlight risks
- Own and manage cancellation fee postings
- Complete financial tasks such as journals, reconciliations, and reporting
- Build relationships with hotel teams
- Prepare and issue hotel reports
- Ensure compliance with Revenue Accounting policies
- Reconcile VAT and flag compliance concerns
- Support process improvements for efficiency
- Facilitate monthly closures and reporting activities
- Lead analytical review processes
- Support hotel lifecycle activities

Requirements
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Work with limited supervision while managing multiple priorities
- Demonstrate strong accountability and deadline focus
- Possess technical accounting and reconciliation expertise
- Experience with multiple business systems and ability to spot issues
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Familiarity with ERP systems (preferably SAP, Oracle or PeopleSoft)
Qualifications
- Required: High School Diploma / GED
- Preferred: Degree in finance/accounting or equivalent finance/accounting experience
