FlexiTog is part of an international workwear group backed by US private equity, currently investing heavily in professionalising its finance function across the UK, Germany, the Netherlands and Poland. We need an experienced audit professional to step in for three months and keep things moving through a busy period, working closely with our Group Finance Director. If you like the idea of parachuting into a live, multi-country audit and making an immediate impact, this is for you.
This is a hands-on, short-term assignment supporting FlexiTog's Group Finance Director, Anna, through a period where she's covering a lot of ground with limited team capacity. You'll take the audit workload off her plate and keep it on track across our European entities, working independently with minimal day-to-day oversight. It's a fully remote role.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and progress the UK statutory audit (FRS 102)
- Manage the US GAAP audit and reporting requirements for our US parent company
- Own the comparison and reconciliation between UK FRS 102 and US GAAP treatments
- Complete reconciliation work between the old and new systems that wasn't finished during cutover
- Support audit consolidation across the group's European entities
- Act as the main point of contact for external auditors during this period
- Keep the audit process on track ahead of a permanent finance hire joining in September

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
