Your new company

A well-established accountancy practice is seeking an experienced Interim Auditor to support a busy audit team during a period of sustained growth. The successful candidate will work primarily with a portfolio of property and construction clients, delivering high-quality audit assignments and providing technically robust audit support across a range of engagements.

This is an excellent opportunity for an auditor who can quickly integrate into an established team, take ownership of assignments, and work with minimal supervision.

Your new role

  • Lead and deliver audit assignments from planning through to completion.
  • Manage audits for a diverse portfolio of property and construction sector clients.
  • Review and assess financial statements prepared under UK GAAP and FRS 102.
  • Evaluate revenue recognition, WIP, contract accounting, and project-related financial controls.
  • Review fixed asset registers, development property valuations, investment property portfolios, and construction contracts.
  • Liaise directly with clients, providing clear communication and resolving audit queries efficiently.
  • Identify audit risks and ensure compliance with audit and accounting standards.
  • Support managers and partners with technical matters and engagement delivery.
  • Prepare and review audit documentation to a high professional standard.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
