Job Opportunity: Interim Commercial Lead
The Opportunity
We are seeking an Interim Commercial Lead for a strategic, hands-on role. The candidate will work directly with the Founder in a 6–12-month engagement, typically 2–3 days per week. This role focuses on building a business rather than merely selling products.
The ideal candidate will help:
- Define and execute TrustVet’s UK commercial strategy.
- Establish relationships with key veterinary groups, including corporates and independent practices.
- Build and convert a high-quality sales pipeline into long-term customers.
- Develop the role into a permanent senior commercial leadership position as the business grows.
Key Objectives
During the initial engagement, the role involves:
- Developing and refining TrustVet’s UK commercial strategy.
- Building strategic relationships with veterinary corporate and independent groups.
- Identifying and qualifying new commercial opportunities.
- Presenting the TrustVet platform to senior decision-makers.
- Driving strategic opportunities to contract and implementation.
- Developing a structured sales process and CRM discipline.
- Advising on pricing, positioning, and commercial messaging.
- Representing TrustVet at vet conferences and industry events.
- Shaping the future structure of the commercial function as the business scales.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
