We are working with a professional membership organisation who are entering a defining chapter. They are progressing through a significant programme of digital transformation, strengthening its policy and campaigns capability, and preparing for a major brand relaunch alongside a new five-year strategy - one that places engagement, reputation and trust, and clear, confident communication, at its heart.

We are seeking an Interim Director of Communications to provide strategic and operational leadership across its communications function during this pivotal period, as the organisation embeds its new strategy, prepares for its brand relaunch, and establishes the strategic alignment of its newly formed policy and standards unit. You will lead a broad, multidisciplinary function spanning communications, media, policy, campaigns, press, publishing, and marketing, bringing these together under a single, coherent and evidence-based narrative.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
