Interim Contract – 12 Months
£850 - £1,350 per day
Sellick Partnership is supporting Bristol City Council with the appointment of an experienced interim Director of Housing, Property & Investment.
This is a high-profile leadership role within one of the UK's largest local authority housing providers, offering the opportunity to lead a significant housing asset and property portfolio at a time of investment, transformation and regulatory focus.
Reporting to the Executive Director of Housing, you will provide strategic leadership across housing property services, asset management, compliance, building safety, investment programmes, development and regeneration.

Key areas of responsibility include:
- Responsive repairs and maintenance
- Asset management and investment strategy
- Building safety and statutory compliance
- Mechanical and electrical compliance
- Capital works and planned maintenance programmes
- Housing development and regeneration
- Contractor and stakeholder management
- Service improvement and transformation
We are seeking a senior housing professional with a proven track record of operating at Director level within a large and complex housing organisation.
You will bring:
- Significant experience leading housing asset management and property services functions
- Strong knowledge of building safety, landlord compliance and housing regulation
- Experience delivering large-scale investment, maintenance and transformation programmes
- Strong commercial and financial management skills, including oversight of substantial budgets
- Experience working within a political or public sector environment
- The ability to lead large multidisciplinary teams and drive organisational change
