Interim Director – Property & Facilities Management
Yorkshire & North West | 9–12 Month Interim Contract (Maternity Cover)

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced operational leader to join a Global Real Estate Consultancy on a 9–12 month interim contract, providing maternity cover for a key regional leadership position.
This is a high-profile role with full responsibility for the performance, growth and operational delivery of a significant Property & Facilities Management business across Yorkshire and the North West. You'll inherit an established portfolio, lead a high-performing leadership team, and play a key role in shaping regional strategy while ensuring exceptional client service and commercial performance.

The Opportunity
As Interim Director, you'll take ownership of a major regional business with responsibility for:
- Leading regional operations across a diverse commercial property portfolio
- Full P&L accountability, driving profitability, operational performance and sustainable growth
- Building and maintaining strategic client relationships with major corporate occupiers and investors
- Leading, developing and inspiring a multi-disciplinary leadership team
- Driving service excellence, innovation and continuous improvement across the region
- Supporting business development activities, major bids and client presentations
- Sitting on the senior Operations Leadership Team, influencing strategic decisions across the wider business
- Ensuring the highest standards of governance, compliance, risk management and health & safety

What You'll Bring
We're looking for a proven senior leader who can quickly establish credibility and confidently lead a large operational business.
You'll ideally have:
- Significant senior leadership experience within Property Management, Facilities Management or Integrated FM
- A strong commercial mindset with demonstrable P&L ownership
- Experience managing large teams across multiple locations
- An excellent track record of developing long-term client relationships and growing accounts
- Strong experience delivering operational transformation and service improvement
- Outstanding stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience leading tenders, mobilisations and complex service delivery
- Knowledge of commercial property, managing agent environments and service charge governance
- Relevant professional qualifications (IWFM, RICS, IOSH, NEBOSH or equivalent) are advantageous
