We're Hiring: Interim Finance Accounts Assistant
Location: Avonmouth, Bristol Hours: Full-Time (39 hours per week) Work Style: Office Based
Are you organised, detail-oriented, and looking to develop your career in finance? Stancold Plc is seeking an Interim Finance Accounts Assistant to join our finance team during an exciting period of business transformation as we implement new finance software. This role will support the business throughout the implementation and associated process improvements.

Stancold Plc is a Bristol-based specialist in turnkey construction solutions, using composite panels for fire-rated and temperature-controlled environments. We deliver a wide range of projects across the UK, including:
- Office partitioning
- Industrial firewalls
- Food chillers and freezers
- Specialised construction solutions
Our business is founded on pillars of quality, safety, compliance, and sustainability.
The Role
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, this position involves supporting finance activities across multiple group companies, offering exposure to a broad spectrum of accounting functions. Key responsibilities include:

- Sales ledger management and credit control
- Purchase ledger processing and supplier reconciliations
- Processing subcontractor invoices and CIS administration
- Bank and intercompany reconciliations
- Month-end support and audit preparation
- Ensuring accurate financial records and adherence to compliance standards
- Assisting in finance process improvements and aiding the implementation of new systems and software solutions
About You
We are looking for a candidate who demonstrates:
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills relevant for cross-organisational collaboration
- Proactive, adaptable, and show a keen interest in learning and development
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced office environment
- Capability to prioritise workloads and work independently when needed
