Chalk Hill Group Opportunity

Chalk Hill Group has an immediate requirement for an experienced Interim Finance Director to join a profitable, private equity-backed SME business based in North London.

This is a critical leadership appointment supporting the business through a significant period of change, requiring a commercially astute finance leader who can add value from day one.

The Role

  • Lead the finance function through a complex carve-out process
  • Partner closely with the CEO, Board, and PE investors
  • Provide strategic and operational financial leadership
  • Drive robust financial controls, reporting, and governance throughout the transition

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Interim Finance Director within PE-backed businesses
  • Demonstrable track record of leading carve-outs or business separations
  • Strong stakeholder management with investors, lenders, and senior executives
  • Hands-on approach with the ability to operate at pace

  • £550-650 per day, outside IR35
  • North London
  • 3 days per week on-site
  • Immediate start – candidates must be available on 1-2 weeks' notice
