Interim Finance Restructuring Specialist
6-Month Interim Contract | Scotland | Hybrid | Competitive Day Rate
We're partnering with a respected public sector organisation to appoint an experienced finance professional to support a high-profile programme of financial assessment and restructuring.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in restructuring, turnaround, corporate finance, or financial advisory who enjoys solving complex financial challenges and influencing strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess business plans, financial models, and cash flow forecasts.
- Provide commercial analysis, options appraisals, and contingency planning.
- Challenge financial assumptions and identify key risks.
- Deliver clear, strategic advice to senior stakeholders.
- Lead multiple complex projects while managing and developing a small team.
- Build trusted relationships and influence decision-making at senior levels.

About You
You'll be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with:
- Strong experience in restructuring, turnaround, corporate finance, or financial advisory.
- Excellent commercial judgement and analytical skills.
- Experience reviewing business plans and cash flow forecasts.
- Proven leadership and stakeholder management experience.
- Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial issues clearly.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where priorities evolve quickly.
