A leading UK infrastructure programme is seeking an experienced IFRS Reporting Lead

This role plays a critical part in delivering accurate, timely and compliant consolidated financial reporting for one of the country’s most significant capital projects.

Working closely with senior finance leadership and cross-functional teams (Legal, Project Controls, Supply Chain, HR and Delivery Programmes), you will ensure robust financial governance, high-quality reporting and a smooth month-end and audit process. This is an opportunity to influence financial control at scale, shape reporting processes, and support strategic decision-making across a complex, fast-growing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the operational delivery of IFRS consolidated reporting, ensuring accuracy, compliance and alignment with accounting policies.
  • Manage a well-planned month-end process, producing high-quality management information and insightful commentary.
  • Coordinate inputs for external audit, ensuring a smooth, well-structured audit cycle.
  • Apply technical judgement to complex transactions and support the development of accounting policies.
  • Strengthen financial controls, governance and reporting processes across the organisation.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to drive financial awareness, improve decision-making and support project delivery.
  • Contribute to enterprise-wide change initiatives, including regulatory, cost and growth programmes.
  • Provide detailed analysis and ad-hoc financial insight to support strategic and operational decisions.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
