Role Overview
- **Contract: **Interim (initial 3-month contract)
- **Remuneration: **£500 per day, inside IR35
- **Location: **Must live in or near London, with the ability to travel to the UK when required. Role is largely remote.
Start Date: Immediately available to commence in July 2026

Key Responsibilities
- Lead UK and international financial operations for two overseas entities.
- Manage month-end close processes and prepare accurate financial reporting.
- Oversee statutory audits, ensuring compliance with FRS 102.
- Coordinate VAT, statutory filings, and treasury operations across Europe.
- Partner on cash forecasting and intercompany activities.
- Support Sage Intacct-Salesforce integration, driving process improvements.
- Collaborate with international teams to enhance close cycles and reporting.

Skills & Experience
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Proven controllership experience with a strong focus on VAT compliance.
- Experience working on FRS 102 audits (US-GAAP knowledge a plus, not mandatory).
- Strong analytical skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to quickly step into leadership with minimal hand-over required.
- Highly effective cross-functional communication skills.

Technical Proficiencies
- Excel mastery with experience handling multiple data sources.
- Familiarity with Sage Intacct (an advantage).
