Interim Financial Controller

£500-£600 per day

Initial 6 month term

Central London

Partner Financial are recruiting an Interim Financial Controller for an initial term of 6 months for a NASDAQ listed tech business who are a true leader in their field. This growing company operates at the forefront of technology and are a partner of choice for their client base. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the Interim Financial Controller will take immediate ownership of the (group) reporting function and help deliver a function that is capable of supporting rapid growth.

Key Responsibilities for the Interim Financial Controller:

  • Lead the month-end, quarter-end and year-end close process under IFRS.
  • Assist in the annual 20F reporting process; engage with external advisors as required.
  • Own the compliance risk register; maintain a rolling review for SOX and non SOX controls.
  • Provide technical guidance on IFRS and its applications; e.g. around revenue recognition.
  • Prepare and /or review balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Partnering across the finance teams and other areas of the business.

The Candidate:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA preferred – CIMA / ACCA considered).
  • Strong technical IFRS experience in preparing accounting memos and statutory accounts.
  • Worked in a multi-currency and / or multi-site organisation in industry.
  • Hands-on approach with the ability to ask if you’re not sure of something.
  • Either IMMEDIATELY AVAILABLE or on a one week notice period.
