About the Role
We are supporting a PE-backed SaaS business in the search for an experienced Interim FP&A Director to take ownership of Executive and Board reporting, forecasting and performance analysis for an initial period of six months. This is a highly visible role at the centre of the business, partnering closely with the CFO, Executive Committee and Board. The key focus is not simply producing reports but turning complex data into clear, actionable business insights and strategic narrative.
Key Responsibilities
- Own monthly Executive and Board reporting cycles
- Produce high-quality, board-ready reporting packs and presentations
- Translate financial and operational data into clear performance narratives
- Explain revenue trends, growth drivers, variances and business performance
- Lead forecasting, budgeting and scenario planning activities
- Support reporting requirements for investors, lenders and senior stakeholders
- Act as a central point of coordination across multiple business units and stakeholders
- Help develop and improve the wider FP&A and reporting capability

Candidate Profile
- Proven FP&A leadership experience within a complex organisation
- Strong Board and Executive reporting background
- Excellent commercial acumen and storytelling capability
- Comfortable operating directly with CFO, ExCo and Board-level stakeholders
- Experience working across multiple products, business units and data sources
- Ability to challenge assumptions, investigate performance drivers and provide recommendations
- Background within SaaS, technology and/or PE-backed environments preferred
