Interim FP&A Lead / Manager

PE-backed Software / SaaS

Location: London (hybrid, 3 days)

Duration: 3-6 months

Start: ASAP

Day Rate: c. £475-£515/day inside IR35

I’m supporting a PE-backed software business with the hire of an Interim FP&A Lead / Manager to join during a period of finance transformation and systems change.

This is a hands-on role sitting in Group FP&A, working closely with finance, commercial leaders, senior management, and investors. The business needs someone who can deliver accurate reporting and forecasting today, while improving the data, processes, and controls behind the numbers.

Key areas of focus:

  • Monthly reporting, management accounts, KPI packs, and Board materials
  • Variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior year
  • Budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning across P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow
  • Building and maintaining robust 3-way models and scenario analysis
  • Business partnering with commercial and operational leaders
  • Revenue / ARR data clean-up, including reconciling data across Salesforce, spreadsheets, and finance systems
  • Improving manual reporting processes and creating more repeatable outputs

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
