Interim FP&A Manager | Slough, Berkshire | £450-£500 per day Inside IR35 | Immediate Start | 3-6 Month Contract
I'm representing a leading FMCG organisation with a portfolio of well-known household brands found on the shelves of major retailers including Tesco, Boots and Amazon.
We are seeking an experienced FP&A Manager to support a key regional business unit. This is a highly visible role that will lead the budgeting, forecasting and planning processes while acting as a trusted business partner to senior stakeholders across the organisation. The successful candidate will combine strong financial planning expertise with commercial acumen, providing insight and challenge to drive performance and support strategic decision-making in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the regional annual budget, quarterly forecasts and long-range planning processes.
- Partner with senior stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain and Operations to support business performance and strategic objectives.
- Deliver insightful analysis of financial performance, highlighting risks, opportunities and key business drivers.
- Produce and present monthly management reporting and performance reviews for regional leadership teams.
- Develop and maintain robust financial models to support planning, investment and commercial decision-making.
- Provide challenge and guidance to budget holders, ensuring financial accountability across the region.
- Support the evaluation of new business initiatives, customer investments, promotional activity and pricing decisions.
- Monitor actual performance against budget and forecast, recommending corrective actions where required.
- Drive continuous improvement in forecasting accuracy, financial reporting and planning processes.
- Collaborate with wider finance teams to ensure consistency in reporting and alignment with business objectives.
- Support strategic projects and initiatives through financial analysis and business case development.
- Build strong relationships across the business to ensure finance is viewed as a value-adding business partner.
