Interim FP&A Manager | Household-Name Consumer Marketplace | Remote
Harmonic are delighted to be partnering with a fast-growing technology business to find an Interim FP&A Manager for a project central to their 2027 planning.
The Client
A unicorn-status, VC-backed technology scale-up with a global consumer marketplace, serving both B2C and B2B customers. The finance function has scaled fast and is now modernising how the business plans and budgets, moving OPEX onto a self-serve model in a modern cloud FP&A tool ahead of the 2027 cycle.
The Role
You will own the OPEX budgeting and forecasting cycle end to end, reporting to the Finance Business Partner. That means running 1:1s and group sessions to get budget holders comfortable owning their own numbers in the new system, then staying in the room with them: challenging inputs that don't stack up, chasing deadlines, and catching problems early before they hit the final numbers. You'll stay involved with stakeholders across the full cycle, from the first onboarding sessions right through to the numbers landing.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
