Interim Fund Controller

Equifind are supporting a global asset management group with the appointment of an Interim Fund Controller to help support the business through a period of change and transformation.

The role will oversee a broad range of fund operations activities across multiple jurisdictions, including fund administration, deal and tax structuring, valuations, and finance operations.

Working closely with the investment, finance, and corporate teams, you'll help ensure strong governance, efficient processes, and smooth day-to-day operational delivery.

A key part of the assignment will be supporting the transition from the current fund administrator to a new provider, helping to manage the migration process and minimise disruption to the wider business.

This is a rolling contract, with a minimum of 12 months work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead global fund operations for the infrastructure platform, ensuring high-quality execution across all operational, financial, and administrative activities.
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of fund operations, including capital activity, investor reporting, liquidity management, and governance processes.
  • Drive operational best practice, process optimisation, and scalability across the platform.
  • Partner with investment teams to support deal structuring, execution, and post-transaction integration.
  • Oversee tax structuring for new investments and fund vehicles, coordinating with internal tax teams and external advisors.
  • Lead the valuation process for infrastructure assets and fund portfolios, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to valuation policies.
  • Collaborate with investment and asset management teams to review performance metrics, assumptions, and methodologies.
  • Manage relationships with third-party administrators, custodians, auditors, and other service providers.
  • Oversee financial reporting, audit processes, and regulatory filings across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Ensure strong internal controls, risk management, and compliance frameworks are maintained and continuously improved.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
