Interim group financial accountant
Interim Technical Accountant / Group Reporting Accountant
Bath | 3-4-Month Contract | Competitive Day Rate
We’re partnering with a highly regarded organisation in Bath seeking an experienced Interim Technical Accountant / Group Reporting Accountant to support the finance team through a busy period.

The Opportunity
You’ll work closely with the Group Reporting Lead, contributing to:
- Accurate and timely financial reporting
- Technical accounting and statutory reporting activities
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing monthly and year-end group consolidations
- Supporting statutory accounts preparation and reporting
- Providing technical accounting expertise, particularly on IFRS
- Assisting with year-end audit processes and external audit queries
- Collaborating with finance teams across multiple business units
- Supporting ad-hoc reporting, analysis, and finance projects as needed

About You
We’re looking for a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA preferred) with:
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and IFRS expertise
- Group reporting and consolidation experience
- Experience in statutory reporting and audit processes
- Stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment

📍 Bath (3–4 days per week on-site)
