Interim Group Financial Accountant
Hybrid London/Crawley
Salary: £60K-£70K
We are looking for an experienced Interim Group Financial Accountant to join a Group Finance team during an exciting period of transformation.
This is a hands-on role that combines technical financial reporting with the opportunity to improve the way Group Finance operates. Alongside delivering high-quality monthly and statutory reporting, you'll play a key role in streamlining processes, driving efficiencies and helping shape the future finance operating model.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the monthly group consolidation process.
- Prepare accurate and timely Group management reporting.
- Coordinate the consolidation of budgets and forecasts across the Group.
- Support the preparation of half-year and year-end statutory reporting under IFRS.
- Act as a key contact during the external audit process.
- Ensure robust financial controls and reporting standards are maintained.
- Identify opportunities to simplify and improve reporting processes.
- Support finance transformation initiatives, including process redesign, automation and standardisation.
- Work with internal stakeholders and offshore support teams to transition suitable activities and improve the efficiency of the Group Finance function.
- Document and embed improved reporting processes and controls.

Skills/Experience required:
- Qualified Accountant /Qualified by experience
- Experience in Group consolidation
- Experience using Cognos
