Interim Head of FP&A | £700 - £800pd | PE Backed Media
JSS are partnering with a private equity-backed media and content business to appoint an Interim Head of FP&A / VP Finance.
This is a highly commercial and hands-on role, requiring an individual who is comfortable operating at both strategic and operational levels within a fast-paced, PE-backed environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the budgeting, forecasting and reforecasting processes across the Group.
- Review and enhance existing FP&A processes, models and reporting frameworks.
- Improve forecast accuracy and provide meaningful insights into business performance.
- Develop robust financial models to support strategic and commercial decision-making.
- Partner with senior leaders across Commercial, Sales, Content, Marketing and Operations.
- Deliver actionable insights around revenue performance, profitability and growth opportunities.
- Support business case development, investment decisions and strategic initiatives.
- Drive accountability through KPI reporting and performance management.
- Prepare and enhance Board, lender and investor reporting packs.
- Support the CFO in delivering high-quality reporting and analysis to shareholders.

Key Requirements:

- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
- Proven experience as an Interim Head of FP&A, VP Finance, Finance Director or equivalent senior finance leadership role.
- Strong track record within private equity-backed, high-growth or transformation environments.
- Experience preparing Board packs, investor reporting and performance analysis for PE stakeholders.
- Demonstrable success improving forecasting, reporting and financial planning processes.
- Strong commercial finance and business partnering experience.
- Excellent financial modelling and analytical capabilities.
- Ability to operate with pace, autonomy and influence in a dynamic environment.
