We invite you to join us as an interim Headteacher at Roehampton Gate School, a specialist setting for young people with autistic spectrum disorders. We seek a dynamic, enthusiastic, and visionary leader—someone with a commitment to building a high-performing school that delivers outstanding outcomes for students.
Working closely with our Chief Operating Officer and Regional Director, you will:

About Roehampton Gate School
Roehampton Gate School is a purpose-built day school for pupils aged 4–19 with moderate to severe needs on the autistic spectrum. Located on Priory Lane, the school features:
- Modern, spacious facilities specifically designed for specialist education
- Specialist classrooms for subjects such as IT, art, food technology, science, and music
- Dedicated sensory and therapy rooms/suites

Just recently, we have opened Putney Vale, our dedicated post-16 provision in a brand-new building. This facility offers:

Responsibilities
The Headteacher will provide strategic leadership, ensuring:
- A safe, inclusive, and high-quality learning environment for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
- Staff development and maintenance of high teaching and learning standards
- Curriculum leadership and continuous school improvement
- Oversight of safeguarding, Ofsted compliance, and statutory compliance
- Strong partnerships with families, external professionals, and the community
- Support for pupil independence and adulthood preparation
The interim Headteacher will collaborate with senior leadership to maintain academic and pastoral excellence while laying foundations for future growth.
