Interim HR manager

Interim HR Manager (Adult Social Care)

Location: Hybrid, UK-based

Contract Type: Interim (6 Months Minimum)

Day Rate: Competitive

Start Date: Immediate / Short Notice

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead with Impact: Support, mentor, and inspire the HR team through a pivotal transitional phase.
  • Be the Expert: Manage complex employee relations casework with a pragmatic, empathetic, and commercial approach.
  • Support the Frontline: Oversee end-to-end recruitment and retention strategies, ensuring the organisation continues to attract top-tier care talent.
  • Maintain Excellence: Ensure all HR processes and workforce files remain fully compliant with stringent care regulations.
  • Drive Change: Partner closely with senior stakeholders to advise on workforce planning and smoothly embed change initiatives.

What You'll Bring:

  • The Credentials: CIPD Level 5 or above (or equivalent experience) with a stellar track record in interim or contract roles.
  • The Background: Proven experience as an HR Manager, ideally within a regulated sector (such as social care, healthcare, or education), meaning you understand the nuances of compliance and safeguarding.
  • The Mindset: A proactive, resilient, and "hit-the-ground-running" attitude. You possess excellent communication skills.
  • The Readiness: Available immediately or on short notice to make an immediate impact.
