Technology Solutions & Integrations Contractor
Why this role matters:
Konekt is at an exciting stage in its technology journey. With AWS-supported operational platforms alongside Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Power BI and Microsoft Fabric, we're continuing to modernise our technology landscape to create a more connected, efficient and scalable business.
As we transition day-to-day IT support to external partners and continue investing in our technology environment, we're looking for someone who can take ownership of how our systems, platforms and infrastructure work together.
This role is about much more than keeping the lights on. You'll ensure our technology ecosystem remains secure, integrated and easy to use, while continually looking for opportunities to automate processes, simplify workflows and introduce smarter ways of working.
You'll bring curiosity, commercial thinking and a practical understanding of emerging technologies, including AI, to help solve real business challenges.
Simply put, you'll make sure all the technology puzzle pieces fit together and continue to evolve as the business grows.
The Role:
We're looking for a hands-on Technology Solutions & Integrations Contractor who enjoys solving business problems through technology.
This is an infrastructure and technology environment-focused role where you'll take ownership of ensuring our core platforms, business systems and cloud technologies work seamlessly together. Rather than simply maintaining existing systems, you'll continually look for opportunities to improve them through automation, systems integration and practical technology solutions.
Working closely with business stakeholders and our outsourced technology partners, you'll identify opportunities to improve efficiency, eliminate manual processes and create scalable solutions that support our continued growth.
During the first quarter, a key priority will be supporting the transition of day-to-day IT support to a Managed Service Provider, ensuring responsibilities, service expectations and governance are clearly defined.
You'll act as the bridge between business needs, technology solutions and delivery, translating operational challenges into practical improvements that enhance both employee experience and business performance.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
