Interim Learning & Development Business Partner
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Interim Learning & Development Business Partner to join our HR team on a 12-month fixed-term contract covering maternity leave. This is a fantastic opportunity for an L&D professional who is passionate about developing people, partnering with leaders, and driving learning initiatives that deliver measurable improved performance.
As the Learning & Development Business Partner, you will work closely with managers and stakeholders across the UK & Ireland business to identify capability gaps, design learning solutions, and lead the delivery of key development initiatives. You will play a pivotal role in embedding a culture of continuous learning while ensuring our learning platforms and programmes effectively support organisational goals.
Responsibilities
- Partner with business leaders and managers to identify learning and development needs and create targeted development plans
- Design, coordinate, and deliver learning programmes that support business objectives, leadership development, and employee growth
- Act as a trusted advisor to managers on learning strategies, talent development, and performance improvement initiatives
- Manage and optimise the use of learning platforms, including Litmos, ensuring a positive user experience and accurate learning records
- Analyse learning data and trends to measure effectiveness, identify opportunities, and provide recommendations to stakeholders
- Lead and support learning-related projects, including programme launches, system enhancements, and change initiatives
- Collaborate with HR colleagues and external providers to ensure high-quality learning content and delivery
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and shared best practice across the organisation
- Maintain learning documentation, processes, and governance to ensure consistency and compliance
- Travel regularly to Culligan locations across the UK & Ireland to engage directly with managers and employees and support learning initiatives on-site
- Take a hands-on approach to identifying capability gaps, recommending solutions, and delivering practical interventions tailored to local business needs

Requirements
- Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities within a fast-paced agile environment
- Ability to work independently, use initiative, and adapt learning solutions to different audiences and business challenges
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels
- Experience designing, facilitating, and evaluating learning and development programmes at a range of levels
- Commercially minded with the ability to align learning initiatives to business objectives
- Confident analysing data, producing reports, and measuring learning effectiveness
- Previous experience in a Learning & Development Advisor, Partner, or Talent Development Role
- Experience working with Learning Management Systems, ideally LMS
- Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
- CIPD Qualification or equivalent L&D qualification desirable
