FTC Opportunities in Energy Sector
We are recruiting for a number of 12-month Fixed-Term Contract (FTC) opportunities within one of the UK’s most well known, forward-thinking, purpose-driven energy businesses. This organisation sits at the forefront of the UK’s journey to net zero, with a genuinely positive, empowering culture and a legal team known for its collaboration, stability and long-term investment in people.
About the Role
The business — and its legal function — are continuing to grow, creating real scope for longer-term opportunities beyond the initial contract. You’ll be joining at an exciting time, working on major commercial and transformational projects that directly support the UK’s sustainable energy transition and you’ll be part of a team known for being supportive, pragmatic and genuinely committed to developing their lawyers.
Key Responsibilities
You’ll work alongside experienced specialists on a wide range of high-value commercial contracts and project-based matters. The work is strategic, innovative and varied — spanning complex supply arrangements, technology-driven initiatives, customer and partner agreements, and large-scale operational projects.
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
