๐Ÿš€ Interim Legal Counsel / Senior Legal Counsel | High-Growth Technology Business | London ๐Ÿ“ London | Hybrid Working | Competitive Day Rate | Interim Contract

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Interim Legal Counsel to join a rapidly growing technology business, providing legal support to its UK operations during an important period of growth and development.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded interim lawyer looking for a broad and varied in-house role, working closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation. You will provide practical legal support across a range of areas including commercial contracts, employment matters, regulatory considerations, product initiatives and strategic business projects.

The business is open to considering experienced interim lawyers who can quickly add value, operate autonomously and provide commercially focused advice in a fast-paced environment. This role offers excellent exposure across the business and the opportunity to make an immediate impact from day one.

The Role

You will provide interim legal support across a wide range of business-critical matters, including:

  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements, supplier contracts and strategic partnerships
  • Supporting ongoing business initiatives, product developments and commercial projects
  • Advising on UK employment matters and regulatory requirements affecting the business
  • Reviewing and updating Terms & Conditions, policies and other commercial documentation
  • Partnering with teams including Product, Privacy, Tax, Compliance and Commercial functions
  • Providing pragmatic, commercially focused legal advice to stakeholders across the organisation
  • Identifying and managing legal risks while supporting business objectives
  • Supporting strategic projects and wider legal initiatives as required

About You

The successful candidate will be:

  • A UK-qualified lawyer
  • Experienced in commercial contracts with strong drafting and negotiation skills
  • Comfortable advising on UK employment matters and general commercial legal issues
  • Able to quickly build relationships and operate effectively with senior stakeholders
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Commercially minded, pragmatic and solutions-focused
  • Experienced in an in-house legal environment, ideally within a technology or high-growth business
  • Available to start at short notice or within a limited timeframe
