At Via, we're supporting a leading international organisation in the search for an Interim Management Accountant to join their finance team on an initial 3-month contract, with the potential for extension.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong accountant to join a fast-paced, complex business during a busy reporting and audit period. You'll play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, maintaining General Ledger integrity, and supporting month-end close across multiple entities.
Day Rate: £300–£400 per day (depending on experience)
Contract Length: Initial 3 months, with potential to extend
Location: London (Hybrid)
The Opportunity
Working as part of a collaborative finance team, you'll support critical financial reporting activities while partnering with internal stakeholders and external auditors. This role offers exposure to a large, international organisation, complex finance operations, and ongoing finance transformation initiatives.

What You'll Be Doing
Financial Reporting & Month-End
- Maintain General Ledger integrity across multiple legal entities
- Support month-end close, journal preparation and financial reporting
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations and intercompany reconciliations
- Review financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
- Support Group reporting requirements and consolidation processes
Audit & Financial Control
- Act as a key contact during statutory audits
- Coordinate audit requests and provide supporting documentation
- Respond to technical accounting queries from auditors and internal stakeholders
- Maintain strong financial controls and ensure reporting accuracy
Projects & Continuous Improvement
- Support capital expenditure accounting and fixed asset reporting
- Assist with finance improvement initiatives and process enhancements
- Work with ERP systems to improve reporting efficiency
- Contribute to ad hoc finance projects as required
What They're Looking For

- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified (or equivalent)
- Strong experience in management accounting and financial reporting
- Excellent General Ledger, reconciliation and month-end close experience
- Strong technical accounting knowledge
- Experience working with statutory audits and external auditors
- Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
Desirable Experience
- Previous Big 4 or Top 10 audit background
- SAP experience (SAP S/4HANA advantageous)
- Experience within manufacturing, engineering or other complex multinational organisations
- Exposure to Group reporting and financial consolidation
