Interim Management Accountant

Location: London (Hybrid)
Day Rate: £350–400 per day

We're supporting a private equity-backed business services company with c.£80m annual revenue seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join on an interim basis.
Working closely with the Financial Controller and wider finance team, you'll play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting commercial decision-making, and ensuring a smooth month-end process within a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

The Role
- Prepare monthly management accounts and supporting commentary.
- Lead month-end close activities, including journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and cash flow reporting.
- Deliver meaningful financial analysis to support business performance and decision-making.
- Business partner with operational stakeholders across the organisation.
- Assist with year-end audit preparation and statutory reporting requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, controls and reporting.

The Candidate
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified (or qualified by experience).
- Previous experience working as a Management Accountant within a fast-paced business.
- Strong month-end, reporting and financial analysis experience.
- Advanced Excel skills with experience using ERP systems.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Previous experience within a private equity-backed or high-growth environment is advantageous.
- Available to start immediately or at short notice.
