Interim Management Accountant
Interim Management Accountant
Contract Duration: 3-6 months Location: Office-based (ideally 4-5 days per week) in North Oxfordshire, between Banbury and Bicester Rate: Daily Start Date: Immediate
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of monthly management accounts in line with reporting deadlines, including accruals and prepayments
- P&L variance analysis against budget and forecast
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Preparation and reconciliation of VAT returns
- Support for R&D tax credit claim
- Assistance in the year-end audit process and tax requirements
- Generation, analysis, and reporting of weekly cash flow forecasts
- Monthly stock accounting and analysis
- Support for annual stock take processes

Qualifications & Experience

- Part-qualified or qualified/ QBE accountant
- Experience in preparing monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations
- Strong proficiency in advanced systems and Excel (functions like XLOOKUP, SUMIF, pivot tables)
- Knowledge and experience in manufacturing and stock accounting
- Familiarity with SAGE systems
