Interim Marketing Director
Location: Milton Keynes
Salary: £90,000 - £100,000 - depending on experience
Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract - 3 months
The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive and working closely with the Senior Leadership Team, this pivotal role will lead the delivery and execution of Personal Group's marketing activity, driving brand awareness, demand generation, and commercial growth.
This is a hands-on senior role, responsible for delivering high-impact multi-channel marketing campaigns with a high emphasis on digital. You will lead and develop the team, driving demand generation through paid search, content marketing, thought leadership, website optimisation, marketing automation, and broader digital marketing initiatives. Using data, analytics, and performance insights, you will continuously optimise campaign effectiveness, customer engagement, and lead conversion, ensuring marketing activity delivers measurable business results.
Key Responsibilities
- Growth – Set clear sales and marketing objectives, define “where to play and how to win,” and drive rapid lead generation through innovative, high-impact campaigns.
- Leadership & Team Development – Motivate, coach, and develop the marketing team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
- Proposition – Shape and articulate a differentiated brand narrative, proposition messaging, and create thought leadership content that set us apart in a competitive market.
- Performance & Governance – Establish robust KPIs, report to the Senior Management Team and Board.

About You
Essential Experience & Skills
- Proven success leading hands-on B2B demand generation programmes that deliver measurable pipeline growth.
- Strong expertise in paid search, SEO, website optimisation, content marketing, and digital campaign management.
- Advanced analytical skills with the ability to use data and insight to improve performance.
- Experience creating effective thought leadership and content strategies.
- Demonstrable success building, motivating, and leading high-performing teams.
- Strong commercial acumen and exceptional communication skills.
- Experience growing or repositioning a challenger brand within a competitive market.
