About the Role

We are looking for an MIS Consultant to join our Management Information Systems Team, to cover a maternity leave for a period of 6 months. If you have experience in supporting and/or training schools and academies in the use of MIS systems, then we would love to hear from you!

Day-to-day, you will:

  • Provide consultancy, training, helpdesk support and assisting schools in the use of their MIS systems (Arbor Core and Advanced) to improve efficiency of the systems use within the school.
  • Identify and resolve issues with supported applications ensuring all requests are dealt with in according to agreed procedures.
  • Engage with our clients to develop long-lasting relationships and grow our existing client base by providing innovative and creative solutions to their needs.
  • Ensure the quality of work is in line with professional standards and performing Customer Service visits and calls as required.
  • Action requests for support, escalated by our Service desk and directly from service users.
  • Investigate issues, requests and resolve these within the contract SLA.

About You

If you can demonstrate the following, we'd love to hear from you:

  • Specialist experience supporting Arbor MIS.
  • Experience in a similar or SaaS environment, an IT or Customer Service environment (ideally in the education sector).
  • Clear and concise communicator, capable of producing written content to a professional quality.
  • Experienced in strong customer service and communication skills and high-level problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly and understand new software, or used an MIS system either as an end user or support function
  • Willingness to learn and become an expert in other Management Information Systems i.e. Bromcom, or ESS SIMS. Desire to increase sales/revenue and investigate new business opportunities.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and experience of business application software including the use of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Access, Excel and Outlook) and contact databases.

It would be desirable for you to have prior experience of delivering training & consultancy in Arbor, or supporting schools in the use of Arbor, ideally in a helpdesk environment.

Please note that this role is a fully remote role, but may require occasional visits to one of our offices in London, or Milton Keynes, alongside occasional visits to schools.
