INTERIM NATIONAL ACCOUNT MANAGER

YOUR NEXT ROLE : INTERIM NATIONAL ACCOUNT MANAGER

This position sits within a team of highly sales focused commercial account managers responsible for driving B2B growth across our brand portfolio.

The Shiseido UK Commercial team are high performers, delivering trade plans, partnering with key UK high street retailers and brokering relationships that last for the future.

In this position, as a skilled negotiator you are required to partner cross-functionally to ensure plans are deliverable and drive performance.

You will led account discussions, propose sale strategies, plan sales cycles and customer driven activations ultimately contributing to the sales growth of Shiseido.

Reporting into the National Accounts Controller, this is an interim position (up to 12 month FTC), based in our fabulous UK Head on a full-time basis with 3 days in the office 2 days flex working.

This role is best suited to individuals who are commercially minded, sales driven, impactful negotiators and target driven executives who are looking to make their mark in a big brand!

Your Responsibilities

As a National Accounts Manager, every day will be diverse. This role requires a strong interpersonal approach – building relationships at every opportunity. You will take ownership of delivering results in a fast-paced, target-driven environment, tracking and providing analysis to forecast performance, proactively identifying risks and opportunities.

Establish and maintain strong relationships at all levels within your designated accounts, including internal teams across Supply & Marketing, to ensure Shiseido achieves maximum visibility and exposure Conduct successful commercial negotiations on terms, pricing, distribution, space and location, in-store visibility Own forecasting, planning, and performance tracking against clear commercial targets Help build and execute joint business plans through data and insight to unlock mutual ambition Manage and optimise assortment and SKU performance across accounts and negotiate increases where necessary. Collaborate with retailers to ensure the optimum assortment is in place to maximise sales within an open-sell environment. Maintaining retailer specific assortment files and order forms. Help lead promotional planning and execution with Senior NAM support Accurately forecast and deliver net sales for defined retailers, meeting all financial targets, deadlines, and budget submissions, while flagging risks and opportunities in a timely and quantified manner Drive the enhancement of the P&L for selected retailers: Optimise product performance across retailers digital channels with support of Retail Activation team Work with Operations team to forecast quantities for new launches. Present each journey to retailers to secure appropriate sell-in for new launches. Review retail sales, sell-in and cover with each retailer on a monthly basis to optimise stocks and assortment, flagging issues with Senior leadership team as necessary Partner with digital team to deliver strong online execution and performance. Manage and optimise assortment and SKU performance across accounts and negotiate increases where necessary. Continuously refine forecasts and strategies based on real-time performance Collaborate with retailers to ensure the optimum assortment is in place to maximise sales within an open-sell environment. Maintaining retailer specific assortment files and order forms. Assist with new launch forecasting for allocated National Account Groups. Monitor your category sales performance, provide input into analysis and broker agreements which inspire our customer Support wider commercial team initiatives and projects as required

Proven track record of delivering sales growth and managing key customer accounts Demonstrated experience negotiating commercial agreements, pricing and promotional activity Commercially minded with strong business acumen Proactive and action-oriented, with a hands-on approach Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment Experience in retail sales management within the National Account sector of the beauty industry.
