About The Role

This role is offered as a fixed term contract to cover a 12-month sabbatical. It will ideally start at the latest by mid-August and run through to mid-September 2027.

Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you will champion and help to deliver our People Strategy which supports the success of all of CF's business practices. You will work with our CPO, People Development Manager and Recruiting Manager to deliver an excellent employee experience across employee onboarding, offboarding, learning, talent and resourcing. Our People team is newly built following a period of transition, so your scope and ability to make a difference will be huge.

We have developed our People Strategy, which is designed to support the delivery of CF's 2030 company strategy, through ensuring we are an employer of choice within the sector and an ‘irresistible organisation' for our employees. We have made an extensive commitment to staff development through an in-house development programme, supported with external inputs. This delivers 10 days of training per year to all staff, with additional time for specific groups (e.g. graduate analysts on induction). Training draws on the extensive skills and experience of the leadership team to deliver the programme, which has been accredited as a route for recipients to become Chartered Management Consultants.

Our growth ambitions are significant - we have diversified over the past ten years, and in the future this is likely to see us establish additional UK bases, as well as considering how we have a more international face. Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
