Interim Project Manager (Operational Transformation – Street Cleansing)

£350–£450 per day

My client is seeking an experienced Interim Project Manager to support a critical transformation programme within its Street Cleansing service.

The Opportunity

This is a hands-on, operationally focused role, not a traditional PM position. You will be embedded within frontline services, delivering real change that will directly shape how the service operates for years to come. The role sits at the heart of a transformation programme, driving improvements across workforce structure, service delivery, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of a portfolio of operational transformation projects within the Street Cleansing function
  • Review and redesign management structures
  • Support recruitment activity
  • Lead procurement exercises
  • Coordinate service delivery for key events
  • Analyse operational data to inform decision-making
  • Shape learning and development approaches for frontline teams
  • Work closely with operational staff to ensure changes are practical, deliverable, and embedded effectively

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
