Your new company
An established and customer-focused housing organisation is seeking a Property Maintenance Surveyor to join its Property Services team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced property professional to play a key role in delivering high-quality maintenance and repair services across a residential property portfolio in Essex.
Your new role
Reporting to the Property Maintenance Manager, you will act as the vital link between residents and external contractors, ensuring repairs are identified, specified, and completed to a high standard. You will be responsible for carrying out property inspections, assessing repair requirements, managing contractor performance, and ensuring customers receive a responsive and professional service at all times. You will be involved in a broad range of maintenance duties, which will include reactive and planned maintenance tasks, including void programmes and damp and mould inspections.

This role is offered on a six-month contract with potential to extend. You will be home based and required to attend site visits in Essex 2-3 days per week.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful for this role, you should have experience within housing maintenance and possess strong technical knowledge alongside a customer-focused approach. A driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use is required for this role. This role is subject to completing a DBS check.
