Senior Real Estate Finance Lawyer – Interim Role
About the Role
Our client, a leading multinational law firm, is seeking experienced Real Estate Finance Lawyers to support their established finance team.
This is a hands-on interim assignment, offering the opportunity to work on a broad range of real estate-backed finance transactions alongside a high-performing, collaborative team. The successful candidate must be:
- Commercially minded
- Confident in handling complex finance matters
- Able to operate effectively in a fast-paced, independent environment
Key Details
- Start Date: Ongoing
- Duration: Initial 2-3 month contract assignments
- Rate: £ per day (DOE)
- Working Pattern: Full time
- Location: Hybrid/London

Key Responsibilities
- Advising on variations of finance transactions, focusing on real estate finance matters
- Preparing and negotiating finance documentation with strong technical accuracy
- Coordinating and managing the closing process (CP) to ensure timely transaction completion
- Liaising with internal teams and external parties to drive deals efficiently
- Maintaining high standards of client care and providing clear communication on progress and timelines

Requirements
- 4+ years’ post-qualification experience in real estate finance or banking & finance
- In-depth knowledge of finance transactions, particularly real estate-backed lending
- Excellent legal drafting and analytical ability
- Ability to explain complex matters simply and concisely
- High attention to detail, with proven experience in managing competing priorities
- Interest in business development and understanding client objectives
- Confident, adaptable, and hands-on—comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
