Interim Sales Director – Residential Developer – 6 Month Contract - £140,000 base
Potensis is delighted to be partnering with a highly respected residential developer with an outstanding reputation for delivering premium, design-led residential schemes. With over 20 years of success, our client is recognised for creating high-quality, complex developments that set the benchmark within the industry.
We are seeking an accomplished Sales & Marketing Director to lead the sales and marketing function on a 6-month interim contract, driving commercial performance, inspiring high-performing teams, and delivering an exceptional customer experience throughout the homebuying journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of sales targets across multiple developments, ensuring performance against unit sales, revenue and margin objectives.
- Inspire, develop and manage sales teams to maximise performance while delivering an outstanding customer experience.
- Develop and implement effective marketing strategies and campaigns that generate high-quality leads and support sales objectives.
- Oversee the presentation of sales environments, digital platforms and all marketing collateral to ensure brand excellence.
- Analyse market trends, competitor activity and customer insights to inform pricing and sales strategies.
- Manage sales and marketing budgets to maximise return on investment.
- Provide strategic support during complex sales negotiations where required.
- Ensure full compliance with consumer protection legislation, industry regulations and company policies.
- Produce accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports and performance updates for senior leadership.
- Coach, mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Proven experience as a Sales Director or Sales & Marketing Director within a residential housebuilder or new homes developer.
- A successful track record of delivering ambitious sales, revenue and profitability targets.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to develop and execute effective sales and marketing strategies.
- Exceptional leadership skills with experience building and motivating high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management abilities.
- A customer-first approach with a passion for delivering an outstanding homebuyer experience.
